THE GREAT COMMISSION:[Matthew 28:19-20]
Section 1.
"Go then to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples; baptize them in name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit; and teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you; and I will be with you always to the end of the age"

THE HOLY SCRIPTURE:[Isaiah 55:11; Ps 119:105; Heb. 4:12; James 1:22-23; II Tim 3:16]

Section 2.
ICF accepts the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired record of God's revelatory actions in human history and as the authoritative basis for its doctrine and practice.

JESUS CHRIST:[Isaiah 19:20; Luke 2:7]

Section 3.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Messiah spoken of many years in the Old Testament before his birth. Christ was born of a common woman. He lived among humanity and identified himself with the poor and the outcast. He was crucified and his death is a ransom for the sins of the world. When he died, he was buried and on the third day, he was resurrected from the dead.

THE ORDINANCES:[Matt. 26:26; Jhn. 6:35; Mk. 1:9-11; Matt. 28:19; Acts 16:15]

Section 4.
Jesus Christ initiated and participated in various religious acts during his ministry. Two important ceremonial acts that Jesus Christ participated in and commanded us to do were the Holy Baptism and the Last Supper.  Therefore, the sacraments of Christian Baptism and the partaking of Lord's Supper are the two sacraments of ICF.

Section 5.
The Bread represents the broken body of Jesus Christ that was broken upon the cross and the Wine represents the Blood of Jesus that is the covenant which was poured out for the forgiveness of sins.

Section 6.
As a Bible believing church, only adults can be baptized and it is done by immersion as Jesus Christ was. Children are not to be baptized but dedicated like Jesus and Samuel. The act of dedication presents them to God in thanksgiving and seeks to bring them into the fellowship of the Universal Church of Jesus Christ for nurture and care.  They will not become full members until they are  at least twelve (12) years old and make a decision to confess Christ and formally unite with the Church. Only adults baptized are permitted to partake of the Lord's Supper.

FAITH AND WORK:[Hebrew 11:1; James 2:17-18]

Section 7.
Faith and Work are complements and they belong together.  They can not be
separated or one considered to be of less importance.  Work is a nature expression of our faith.  Jesus Christ commissioned each of us to proclaim the Good News.  As members of the Body of Christ, we must have faith in God, put our faith into action by using our God-given talents and gifts for the advancement of the Kingdom on earth.  Faith neither work can become a substitute for the other.

RESURRECTION:[John 11:25; Romans 6:5]

Section 8.
There is life after death and at the final triumph, the community of believers will be resurrected.

PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS:[Matthew 28:18-20]

Section 9.
Each individual has been commissioned by Jesus Christ to proclaim the Good News. Each person is a membe
